I’m Morlene. I’m a native New Yorker and daughter of Burmese immigrants. Most of my time is spent curating restaurant experiences and positive community building, online but mostly IRL.

What is Ask a Hedonist?

I was a terminally online person during Web 2.0, when blogging was in its heyday. It was such an intimate time on the internet, and in many ways bloggers sharing their personal experiences made me feel less alone as a teenager growing up in an immigrant household.

In this newsletter I plan to write about the things that take up most of my headspace. This includes questions I get about practicing consensual non-monogamy, food culture, beauty standards, and being a product of an immigrant upbringing. I also hope it helps anyone reading this feel less alone.
